Black Sheep

One of my favourite themes is exploring being the black sheep of my family. I was literally told that I held this place as a bit of an insult. I have since heard that the black sheep is the one “chosen” to forge new paths for the family lineage. We are the ones who are asked to live out the unmet dreams and desires of the ancestors. Also, the literal meaning of black sheep is the unwanted one because the wool could not (would not) be dyed (changed). So I say long live the black sheep, may she be happy, healthy, safe and live with ease!!!!!
