Whew, these are emotionally laden pieces. I have two lovely tabbies and every day they reconfigure themselves on my bed in absolute peace. I was fascinated, a sign that there is something important for me to heed. Through the work of painting I grew to understand that this series is about being safe, at peace, at home. To be safe with another, who holds you with no agenda, no need to give the other what they want to get your needs met; now that is a big hairball…
